Ticona Fillah

Hello!  My name is Ticona Fillah, and I am so excited to serve as Board President for the 2025-2026 school year!  I am a native Maryland & Moco resident and am married with two girls.  My husband Vince is also a native Maryland & Moco resident, and owns a barbershop in Olney.  Our girls are Emerson, who is in 4th grade, and Ellington who is an incoming kindergartener.  I also work full-time as a government contractor.  

I am looking forward to working with my fellow PTA board members and leadership to make our Sherwood ES community an amazing experience for the kids, teachers, and administration!

Sarah Lowman

My name is Sarah, and I (along with my husband, Patrick) have two kids at Sherwood, one in fourth grade and one going into first grade. I have lived in the Sherwood area for about 10 years; I grew up in the suburbs of Richmond, VA before moving up to Maryland after college. When I'm not happily serving on your PTA board, I enjoy outdoor adventures with my family, reading, and a variety of crafts. Go Sharks!

Marlene Campbell

Hi! My name is Marlene and I am excited for my second year on the PTA board. My husband and I have two daughters at Sherwood. They are in third and fourth grade. I grew up in Germantown and have lived in Olney for the past 10 years. I love volunteering whenever possible and enjoy traveling with my family.

Michelle Lancaster

Hi everyone! My name is Michelle Lancaster, and I am excited to serve as your new Treasurer! I grew up in a small town in Bergen County, New Jersey and my husband (Carlos) is a native Maryland resident. He is the Owner / Broker of a Real Estate company in Laurel, MD as well as a Real Estate Investor. We have two children: Carlito / Cal (2nd grade) and Morgan (incoming kindergartener). I work full-time in Account Management for an aerospace manufacturing company in Beltsville, MD. I am looking forward to working with my fellow PTA board members and our Sherwood ES community to help facilitate an amazing experience for our children, parents, teachers, and administration! Claudia Aranda

Hi, my name is Claudia.  My husband and I are the proud parents of Victoria, an SES third grader.  While we aren't native Marylanders (Vicente was born in California and raised in Washington state, and I was born and raised in Texas), we are proud to have called Montgomery County home since 2012. We are grateful to now be a part of the SES community. In my professional life, I have used my legal background to uncover barriers to fair housing and to promote diversity, equity and inclusion principles and best practices.  I am excited to serve on the Sherwood PTA board, help support our school community, and connect with other SES families.  

Bridget Roberts

Hi, I’m Bridget!  I have one child at Sherwood, Spencer in 3rd grade. I also have two girls at Farquhar Middle School, Hailey in 6th grade and Maddie in 8th grade. I grew up outside of Philadelphia but my husband grew up in Maryland and we moved to the area more than 10 years ago.  I work full time as a tax lawyer for the federal government and in my free time I enjoy reading, travel, knitting and driving to as many soccer practices and games as possible :)

Maggie Pond

Greetings! My name’s Maggie and my husband Jeff and I are the proud parents of Evan, an SES first grader. We live in Sandy Spring with my dad, my brother & his family (my niece is also an SES first grader!), 2 cats, and several chickens & turkeys. I was raised in Montgomery County where I was in public school from K-12, graduated from UMD, and currently work in Program Management for the JHU Applied Physics Lab.

I am committed to advocating for a just and inclusive school culture and strongly believe in the power of community engagement to create a positive learning environment for our children. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Board and look forward to connecting with many of you over our next 6 years at SES!

Kristin Prentice

Hi! My name is Kristin and I’m excited to support the Sherwood PTA this year as a Member at Large. This year I’ll have two 4th graders (twins!) at Sherwood, Max and Raegan. I am originally from Pennsylvania but my husband grew up in the DC area and is a life long fan of all things DC sports! I have a background in biotechnology and currently work full-time for a small pharmaceutical start-up company after working in government consulting for 13 years. Outside of work I love gardening and spending time with family! Can’t wait for a fabulous year for our kids and community at Sherwood! 

Greg Fuller

I am Greg Fuller, new at large member this year.  I am excited to work with this group to make Sherwood great!  I have a fourth grader this year named Ada.  I've lived in the area my entire life (other than four years away at college) and currently live in Hallowell in Olney.  For work, I am a software engineer and manager for a government contractor.  I am an active member of the Sandy Spring Lions Club, serving as both Secretary and President recently.  I love our community here in Brookeville, Olney, Sandy Spring, and Ashton.  I share my nerdy passions for video games, technology, animals, and internet culture with Ada.  She and I are both neurodivergent.  I am passionate about compassion, inclusion, and good communication.
