Kang’s Black Belt Academy - Learn the basics of tae kwon do in this fun, energetic class! Your child will learn martial arts basics, powerful life skills, and the best way to burn off energy.

iCook: Bake it ’Til You Make It - In this exciting after-school baking adventure, kids will whip up delicious treats with a healthier twist! Each class features two recipes— a mix of sweet and savory— that are seasonally inspired, like pumpkin brownies or avocado chocolate mousse. From muffins to mini-pizzas, young chefs will discover how to turn wholesome ingredients into mouthwatering creations.

​Shining Kids Yoga - Stretch, breathe, and relax with yoga at Sherwood Elementary! Children will learn yoga poses, deep breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques in a fun, interactive environment.

Learn Now Music - Our goal is to create a positive atmosphere where each student can reach their personal musical goals at their own pace. Students can learn either violin, guitar, piano, or drums - instrument rental is included in the registration fee! Please note, this is NOT the 4th/5th grade Instrumental Music program offered through MCPS; this is an independent program

Silver Knights Chess - Learn chess with Silver Knight’s Chess Academy, the five time world champion’s academy! Most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games; lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.
